Coping. We all seem to find ourselves in situations where coping is necessary. Without it, we'd be a mess. For many, coping is the only way to survive. But some don't even know how to cope.

For me, relaxation is key. I meditate, do yoga, & even keep my room chilled. I find a place where I am safe... my room.. or the beach. Or I sit on my floor & imagine myself sitting on the beach with a nice, cool breeze flowing.

For others, it's about security. Being held in a significant other's arms. But we can't always be in their arms... so what do we do?

Here are some activities you can engage in to calm yourself down:
Yoga
Meditation
Exercise (running, walking, weight training)
Sports (football, soccer, volleyball)
Writing (poetry, stories, songs)
Drawing
Sculpture building
Painting

There are so many activities to think of... but here's my last one... write out a schedule. One of my biggest anxiety triggers (things that caused my anxiety) was not knowing how or when to do something. I had so much to do but it just got jumbled up in my brain. So I wrote out a schedule. What time to wake up, how long it'll take to get ready, what time to do homework, what time to eat, bedtime, ect. I wrote out everything I had planned, gave it a time & estimated time of how long I'll be doing it. It helped a lot & I still do it.

I hope this post helped you. Remember the best way to cope with something is to do something!
